In the height of light
Our shadow is hardly seen, without
Still stirring within.
Today, meet your shadow without. At the Winter Solstice our external shadows are twice as big as we are. Here within all of the light, with the height of the sun, our external shadow shrinks.
Today, meet your shadow within. Listen to a yearning, allow a discomfort, acknowledge and accept.
Today, dance with shadow, within and without.
Notice the shadows in the hazel grove behind the foxglove and the stone wall. Even in the height of summer, there are still shadows, even if we must be more present to their presence.
And isn’t the pink foxglove especially magical against the backdrop of a Burren stone wall?

Yes.
