“Sometimes freedom is like, can you hold me please?” -Prentis Hemphill
Listen to Black Women’s voices
Sometimes freedom is found in asking, in receiving, in not always needing to do it all yourself. Allow yourself to be held, there are so many ways: the Earth (she is always here with open arms), the waters (become weightless, held by the sea or allow yourself to flow with the currents of a river), a beloved (let them hold you, take their embrace), a newly beloved (heart to heart).
Other holders of my body and spirit are the herbs and Brighid and Maeve, the trees and my hearth. Who holds you and allows you remember this freedom, too?
Inspired by Sacred Warrioress Brighid of Kildare
Sometimes freedom is being on holidays on the Black Sea, tucked under an umbrella with a good book and your favorite person.

I hope you and Clary have a wonderful, safe holiday. Love you both!
I love that quote...and definitely for me it's my gardens. Beautiful post and enjoy your holiday!
